Metamorfoze now
Metamorfoze is currently in its fourth phase, which will run from 2009 to 2012. Following the introduction of Preservation imaging as the method of choice for mass conservation the methodology will be redefined. This will be discussed with other national and/or international mass preservation initiatives concerning paper heritage.
Procedure and policy In the fourth phase Preservation imaging will become the only method of conversion. Furthermore, much will be invested in digitizing microfilms that where produced in the past. For more information please contact the co-ordinator in question.
Storage and access Metamorfoze will also invest in an infrastructure for digital storage and access concerning Metamorfoze material. Aim is to create centralized and complete access of all digitized material, through a portal developed by the KB.
